Captain Tony Nesbitt is USCG certified and insured, with more than 25 years of fishing and boating experience.

Growing up on the Crystal Coast of North Carolina, Tony spent a lot of his time on the water.  Whether fishing with friends or enjoying time with his family at the sand bar, if Tony was on the water he was happy.  Since joining the U.S. Navy in 2005 and now with a family of his own, little has changed and the enjoyment of being on the water has only grown as he passes the knowledge, fun and love of the water on to his daughter.

We are proud to tell you Tony is still actively serving in the U.S. Navy as a C-130T Loadmaster out of NAS Jacksonville.  He describes his career as very rewarding, filled with lots of adventure and travel all around the world but it also requires a lot of time away from home. At this time, Great Daye Fishing Charters is a part-time charter service providing flexible scheduling to accommodate both the client and Tony’s full time Navy career. If for any reason a trip needs to be rescheduled due to military requirements, we will notify you immediately. If we can not align our schedules, you will receive a 100% refund on any deposits and early payments received.
